Had the day off from work today but was going to be running errands. Got woke up by a friend calling asking if I was working as she was going to offer me a ride if I was. Told her I wasn't but would be going out in the afternoon to run errands. She told me the roads were covered in ice. Since she was already out she offered to take me on my errands since they were in the same area that she had to go.
We ended up going to my bank first. We then stopped at a little "mom & pop" place for breakfast. I treated since she was driving me around. We then went to her bank and then Michael's as I needed to pick up some yarn and embroidery floss. I'm working on making two loopy scarves for friends.
We were only out for a few hours but it was a nice relaxing time.
